Nora Hoffmann, born in 1973 in Germany, learned to play the violin at age 6. Drawn to contemporary music, she participated in the international organization "Korrespondenzen" for contemporary music in Baden-Baden under the guidance of violin virtuoso Dora Entcheva-Heinen. Nora performed with many progressive artists all over the world. She received her Bachelors in contemporary composition and performance from Mills College in Oakland. She received her MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) from the California Institute of the Arts. Nora is a passionate and awake musician, always stretching the boundaries of known spiritual and musical realms. An avid traveler, Nora lives all over the world.
