What Is Alchemy From Within?
Alchemy from Within or Inner Alchemy is the secret aspect of Western psychology. Western Alchemy was brought into public awareness by Carl Gustav Jung. Inner Alchemy or Alchemy from Within is an honest process of self-discovery. Instead of painfully trying to fit into a mentally pre-designed image of what we believe is the right way for us, this process is about creating our life according to our Higher Self. Healing is a side effect inspired by a lifestyle in agreement with the truth of who we are.
"Every moment is new, every moment is different. Accepting who you are, you are ready to go wherever you want to go." - Sid Gershenson, Gestalt Therapist
Inner Alchemy or Alchemy from Within is not only a healing and revealing process, but also a destructive one. Our inner work of alchemy facilitates self-knowledge through healing old wounds and learning to accept our experience and requires the healthy maturity developed by ones ability to love and accept oneself no matter what. It is not for the faint of heart, in the sense of that it can be scary. Some of the reasons for this scariness are due to uncertainty:
1) We begin to experience the dark essences of our inner self with greater intensity.
2) Unpredictably, aspects of our self-image will be destroyed.
3) Because we identify with who we think ourselves to be, we might easily take this destruction personally and perceive it as destruction of ourselves.
4) At the same time, uncontrollably as well, higher dimensions of our totality will be revealed.
5) We may experience this as disorienting, as it may well not merely expand but also destabilize our current ideas of reality.
6) Inner alchemical processes are very delicate, for they subtly work on the soul body.
The inner work of alchemy facilitates self-knowledge through bringing old experiences into wholeness and learning to accept them as a part of ourselves. We require love and self-acceptance no matter what in order to know our inherent wholeness.

True Alchemy
True alchemy is about refinement and peace. Peace is not for the faint of heart. It requires courage, and the destruction of the ego is difficult. We exist merely as self-imagery for ourselves and others. There are good reasons to replace negative identities with healed ones, however this is not the truth. It is as if replacing your old outdated-with-who-you-are-becoming clothes with freshly bought shiny beautiful now well-fitting new ones. But it doesn't change the illusory nature of the sense of self. In the process of destroying of effective imagery of who we are -- which may happen by accident -- there is nothing real to hold onto once this becomes apparent from within the guidance and effortless while purposeful destruction from the source of our Higher Self, our God-conscious inner truth.
Disclaimer: Alchemy is a destructive process. It requires the healthy maturity developed by your ability to love and accept yourself no matter what. Unpredictably, aspects of your self-image will be shattered. Because you identify with who you think yourself to be, you will experience this destruction as destruction of yourself. Uncontrollably as well, higher dimensions of your totality will be revealed. Careening in the vessel of clay, one’s soul riding through heaven and hell — this process is delicate, for it subtly works on our soul body. Please believe me, and if you still want to work within your alchemy, you must agree to these inevitable risks, and please do contact Nora for inner work.
